Updating a home by replacing the old tile hung exterior walls with Hardie Plank cladding and installing new fascia, soffits and guttering

The first phase of this project was to remove all the old fascia, soffits and guttering and replace with maintenance free uPVC. We installed white uPVC fascia and soffits with black square guttering and downpipes.

Removing tile hung exterior

All the tiles were removed from the external walls along with the old battens. New battens were fixed horizontally to allow for 25mm rigid insulation boards to be fixed behind the new cladding. Breather felt membrane was fixed to the walls along with new battens fixed vertically.

Once this was completed the team installed Slate Grey Hardie Plank cladding to the front and back of the property.
